    Douglas County Senior Meals Program Needs You!

    Volunteers needed to deliver home meals to seniors and people with disabilities.
    Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday choose your best day.

    VOLUNTEER VAN DRIVERS NEEDED!!

    Seniors Escorting Seniors need Drivers to transport senior and people with disabilites to area Doctors, Dentists, rehabilitation, pharmacy,groceries Etc.
    On your a chosen day Monday through Friday day 8:00AM through 4:00 PM

    • WHAT: Seniors Escorting Seniors
    • WHEN: The wheelchair accessible van is available for doctors' appointments and errands from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
      Monday through Friday.
      The second van is available Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for trips to and from the Riddle Community Center.
    • WHERE: The vans travel between Canyonville, Myrtle Creek, Riddle and Tri City.

    Seniors Escorting Seniors offers group outings.

    The Tri-City Center No longer offers senior services
    All meals will be served at Riddle Community Center and Offers: Cards and games are available every Tuesday, Thursday

    and Friday at the Center. Bingo is called every Tuesday, Thursday, and

    Friday at 11a.m.. Shopping in Roseburg every Wednesday 8 a.m. Lunch is

    served Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 12 p.m.. The Riddle Community Center

    is located at the Community Center, 123 Parkside,

    Riddle , Oregon.

    Transportation is available to the

    Riddle dining site, medical appointments and shopping

    Canyonville

    The Canyonville office is located in the South County Health and Social Services Department offices at 247 N. Main. Office hours are Monday and Wednesday, 8 AM to Noon and from 1 to 5 PM.

    Karen Glass , The senior Service Coordinator is available for home visits, information and assistance. Phone 839-4495

    Blood pressures are taken at the drop in clinics held Mondays, 1 to 4 PM and Thursday, 9 to 11 AM.

    The Senior Services Division works in cooperation with older persons to maintain and enhance the well being of older persons in Douglas County. The Senior Services Division provides: social services, congregate meals, home-delivered meals, in-home services, medical services, and volunteer services which includes RSVP and Senior Companion Program.
